Review:

Beautiful. Unique. Heart-wrenching.

I have never read anything like Under The Never Sky. With a combination of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Dystopian genres, it tells the story of Aria, a Dweller who has lived her whole life inside the virtual Realms of a dome named Reverie, and Peregrine, a 'savage' Outsider.

Brought together by sheer coincidence and destiny, Perry and Aria form an agreement - Perry will help return Aria to her secluded, safe dome, while Aria will help Peregrine find his nephew. Though the beginning of their journey is tempestuous at best, Aria is swept into the whirlwind that is the outside - the Real - and she soon finds herself admiring the world around her - and Perry.

Perry and Aria slowly develop a real and deep bond, and have a pure and honest love that is theirs and theirs alone. The setting around them is captivating, intriguing, and incredibly different. The supporting characters are as fascinating as the main characters (Cinder is my darling and I will love him until death). The terrors are terrifying, the wonders are wonderful, and everything about this book is fraught with beauty.

With stunning writing and unique characters, Veronica Rossi had me ensnared within the first pages. By the middle I could not stop reading. And by the end I was devouring this book and ignoring everything else.

Overall ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
