Yes! There's a part two!
Remember when I wrote this humongous post of past and current Strange Chemistry titles, in which i rambled on and on about my love of the publisher and the stellar books they publish? This is the post where I talk about the FUTURE titles. I was supposed to write this weeks ago but, true to form, I forgot. However, it's coming into the new year and that seems like a good time to make this post. There's a tonne of amazing 2014 SC titles coming out (some of which I have galleys of *happy dances* and one of which I've already read!!)
If I could, I would time travel to next year and read all of these books, just to report back to this post about how great they all are. Sadly, time travel hasn't been invented yet (or someone, somewhere, is keeping it secret. Those selfish sneaks.)
As before, these aren't all the future Strange Chemistry books (I don't think??), these are just the ones I'm HIGHLY anticipating. (HINT: click on the covers to make them bigger so you can see ALL of the pretty)

BLACK DOG by Rachel Neumeier takes the reader into a hidden world of magic, war, and shapeshifting that exists just behind the headlines of the human world. Think of it as Robin McKinley's SUNSHINE but with werewolves instead of vampires.
Natividad is Pure, one of the rare girls born able to wield magic. Pure magic can protect humans against the supernatural evils they only half-acknowledge--the blood kin or the black dogs. In rare cases--like for Natividad's father and older brother--Pure magic can help black dogs find the strength to control their dark powers.
But before Natividad's mother can finish teaching her magic their enemies find them. Their entire village in the remote hills of Mexico is slaughtered by black dogs. So I just realised they release one book each month ... after I've written this post. Damn! I could have made it all orderly and everything. Disorderly or not, these are all the amazing books published by Strange Chemistry out in the near future. And if these don't persuade you to read everything by this publisher, I don't know what will. Super talented writers, and a publisher who only publishes Crazy Good books. There's literally nothing more you could want.
It's my Actual Life Goal to be among these amazing writers, published by Strange Chemistry. One day, folks, one day.
Also on a similar note: guess who's getting Strange Chemistry ebooks for Christmas!!! Meeee. And I just bought Julianna Scott's The Holders, which I am long overdue for reading. I am excited! Hope this made you check out some of the above books, and that you join me in my SC love affair.
