Alright, I'll be up front about this: there's no ode. I know, false advertising, but this post is about Strange Chemistry, so it was only half a lie...
Today, it seems, is my day for discovering past and future Strange Chemistry gems. In the past I've read The Woken Gods by Gwenda Bond, and The Weight of Souls by Bryony Pearce (which I love love love), and after reading them I started to develop a tiny crush. Publisher crush. (Yes, that's a thing now.) So I knew they published amazing books, but I didn't quite realise how many amazing books they published. Hint: IT'S A LOT.
Because I am super deep in love with Strange Chemistry, and because I have a blog, I thought I would (you can guess where this is going, right ...?) make a blog post! About the many amazing books, past and future, from Strange Chemistry. Because every single person needs these books, and this publisher, in their life.

Seventeen-year-old Kyra lives in a transformed Washington, D.C., dominated by the embassies of divine pantheons and watched over by the mysterious Society of the Sun that governs mankind’s relations with the gods. But when rebellious Kyra encounters two trickster gods on her way home, one offering a threat and the other a warning, it turns out her life isn't what it seems. She escapes with the aid of Osborne "Oz" Spencer, a young Society field operative, only to discover that her scholar father has disappeared with a dangerous Egyptian relic. The Society needs the item back, and they aren’t interested in her protests that she knows nothing about it or her father's secrets.
Now Kyra must depend on her wits and the suspect help of scary Sumerian gods, her estranged oracle mother, and, of course, Oz--whose first allegiance is to the Society. Holy crap this is long, I'm gonna make a separate post for future releases! These aren't the only Strange Chemistry books; these are just the ones I've added to my GR shelves.
So many incredible books!!! I think I need to move in with Strange Chemistry. I could just live with them and drool over the pretty covers and their wondrous insides. I could be the Legendary Strange Chemistry Hermit. Or I could just continue to beg for titles from Netgalley and use my Super Real Mind Powers to hypnotise someone into sending me physical ARCs... (One day it will work!!)
So, if you haven't read any of Strange Chemistry's titles ... have you been living under a rock??? In a post-apocalyptic world in which books no longer exist??? Been too busy traveling the universe with The Doctor to get your hands on a book??? No? Then you have no excuse! Go read them now!

Not sure what the def. of an ode is (and yes, too busy just now to even google it up) but this is clearly an epic post by any measure and I want to say a richly Chemical and Strange thanx for your wordage and your spectrankular good taste and general bookish wisdom.
