The classic team of former superhero sidekicks continue their adventures in TITANS VOL. 2, as a part of DC Rebirth!

As Kid Flash Wally West and the Titans adjust to their new lives in New York City and investigate a new threat, a mysterious company called Meta Solutions comes to the forefront. Who are they? And what stunning discovery will the Titans make about their new foe?

Writer Dan Abnett (AQUAMAN) and artist Brett Booth (NIGHTWING) continue their critically acclaimed run with TITANS VOL. 2! Collects issues #7-10, TITANS ANNUAL #1 and stories from DC REBIRTH HOLIDAY SPECIAL.

This was even better than volume one!! And that plot twist at the end?? Holy crap!! I need to read the next volume for sure.

Action and friendship and snark and angsty romantic longing, AKA everything I love. I enjoyed the threats, the villains, the appearance of some bigger superheroes, and I especially loved the characterisation of Lilith in this.  I came to appreciate her a whole lot, but to be fair, I love everything in this gang.

I can't recommend this series enough.

A part of DC Universe: Rebirth!

Wally West is back in the DCU and he's once again teamed up with former teen heroes and fan-favorite characters like Nightwing, Donna Troy, Arsenal and more!

Spinning directly out of the events of DC Universe: Rebirth, this new band of Titans are on a quest to find out the truth behind the earth-shattering, universe-changing revelations that Wally ushered in in his return to the world he thought he'd lost. Wally, Donna, Arsenal, Garth, Lilith and Nightwing are on the hunt for the mysterious force that erased their memories, forcing them to forget what they could accomplish together. Reunited with their memories returned, the Titans must destroy the interdimensional demon that broke them apart and threatens reality itself.

I liked this. I never really loved it, but the characters are interesting and the plot is too. I don't like the romance between Wally and Linda tbh, and I wish there'd been more time spent with the Titans so I could get to know them separately. But Kadabra is cool, and I like the art a lot.

Aquaman, the King of Atlantis, has never found a true home in either of the worlds that he was born of. In his undersea realm, Aquaman is both King and outsider. And in the surface world, he's a hero and an outcast.

In this brand new series by fan-favorite writer Dan Abnett (Titans Hunt) and all-star penciller Brad Walker (Sinestro), the King of Atlantis attempts to broker a peace between Atlantis and the surface, but this noble quest might force Aquaman to finally choose whether to live his life above the waves, or below them. Plus, Black Manta makes his bloody return and seeks to destroy everything and everyone Aquaman loves!

There's nothing I don't love about this, except that I ran out of book. I love Aquaman, I love Mera (my queen!) and I love how emotional and tense and action-packed the plot is. Their struggle is so compelling, and makes me angry at mankind. For sure this is a comic I will continue. I need more Aquaman and Mera in my life, and I want to get to know the larger cast of characters more. Could have done without Superman making an appearance though, even if he was cast in an antagonistic light (thanks, comic gods!)
